Must See Marrakech Sights and Tourist Attractions

Djemma el Fna
The Djemma el Fna is a large central square in the old city. During the day, you can walk around the stalls and souks and taste the much talked about orange juice! At sunset, the Djemma el Fna transforms into an entertainers paradise with snake charming, story telling, music and much more.

Sa'adian Tombs
These tombs were created by the Sa'adian dynasty in the 16th century. Some members of the dynasty are buried in them. The tombs were sealed up rather than destroyed in the 17th century and were re-discovered in 1917. Consequently they are beautifully preserved and the mosaic is in very good condition.

Jardin Marorelle
Attracts both tourists and locals who want to spend a few hours in this Moroccan botanical garden. The gardens were created by French artists Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s. The gardens serve as a museum as well and Yves St Laurent has a home next door.

High Atlas
The biggest mountain range in Africa, stretching from Morocco to northern Africa. Visitors can go biking, hiking or do magnificent sightseeing.

Sahara
The magical and mystical African desert. There are numerous excursions to both the Sahara and the Atlas's.
