Carlisle Bay have without a doubt cracked the combination of designer resort and dream baby hangout. The brainchild of Gordon Campbell Gray, of One Aldwych fame, Carlisle Bay has filled a yawning gap in the Caribbean for a seriously cool hotel that pampers families.
Family beach suites have two bedrooms and a beautiful veranda that leads straight out onto the sand and calm bay, with views over to Montserrat. The new Cool Kids Club is set in the hotel’s tropical gardens, with a crèche that takes babies from six months for finger painting, water play, treasure hunts and beach games. The sandpit and paddling pool are the main attractions. The crèche costs £8 per hour including high tea. New mums can head to the Blue Spa for a tropical fruit scrub or rose facial.
