Ritz Carlton hotels are a dab hand at treating babies as mini V.I.Ps. Head to the glamour of the Mexican Riviera - the Ritz Carlton Cancun has launched its ‘Itsy, Bitsy Ritz Kids Rooms’. Three new suites have been specially designed to cater for little guests and their mummies and daddies.
There’s a perfect alcove for baby’s safety-approved crib, a changing table over the chest of drawers, miniature hangars in the wardrobe, a television armoire positioned so as not to disturb baby at nap time and a telephone programmed to light up, not ring. A ‘Shh, baby sleeping’ sign is personalised for every guest. Before arrival, staff contact parents to offer a menu of services and products which can be ready and waiting, from formula milk to swimming diapers, to jogging strollers and infant seats.
General Manager and father-of-three, Marco Luis, said: ‘With so many restrictions on the amount of luggage now in effect, this makes the trip to Cancun so much easier.’
