Drottningholm Palace at Christmas
There’s a Christmas market in the parkland grounds of the Swedish royal family’s country home on a lake. It takes place on just one weekend in mid-December and attracts locals who bring their dogs for country walks and stock up on foody treats for the Christmas table, homemade preserves and crafty gifts. Take a look in the simple church and don’t miss a guided tour of the fabulous little theatre.
Take the T-bana (Underground) to Brommaplan then any of the buses numbered 301 to 323, or 177/178, to the palace. Journey time about 40 minutes.
