Ristorante Dal Bolognese
recommended by
Paola Pane
This chic and traditional restaurant, centrally located in Piazza del Popolo, offers regional cuisine from Emilia Romagna. Specialities include: tortellini in brodo (home made dumplings in broth), tagliatelle alla Bolognese, lasagna verde, veal cutlet, and the bollito misto with spicy mustard fruits.
Its exquisite food is not the reason why the place is a nightmare to book: this is the in-crowd city destination, where you can spot actors, models, artists, journalists and politicians. The best tables are the ones on the ground floor, or the ones outside, in summer.
