For a big slice of nostalgia – and even bigger portions – head to the Sixties Diner in one of the trendier parts of Berlin.

The 1950s-style restaurant could have come straight out of old-school America and serves up reasonably priced hamburgers, hotdogs and pizzas. You certainly won’t find any Sauerkraut here!

If you’re not that peckish, you can still enjoy the old-school vibe. Just settle yourself in one of the retro red leather booths and order a classic milkshake or Coke float to sup while you soak up the décor.

Oranienburger Straße 11, Berlin, Germany

Cost £10 - £25 per person
