recommended by Sue Dobson

Permanently moored on the River Liffey, this former passenger liner tender and training vessel is now restored as a pleasant restaurant, bistro and bar. With its wooden decks and panelling, gleaming brass and relaxed atmosphere, it’s a good setting for lunch or dinner, either in the Quay 16 restaurant (modern European menu) on the main deck or the upper deck Blue River Bistro Bar (great for seafood and Beef and Guinness Casserole).

Quay 16, North Wall Quay , Dublin, Ireland
