The Alaska Railroad train pulls up across from the Whittier cruise terminal. Extremely convenient for passengers on an Alaska cruise, this mode of transportation is more relaxing and informative than the traditional bus ride to Anchorage and beyond. The experience includes a commentary by a tour guide as well as the option to wander to the dining car for a snack, meal, or drinks.
