Located in the Sheraton Hotel in the heart of downtown Anchorage, the Ice Spa offers classic, yet innovative treatments with majestic mountain views from its 16th floor location.
A hotel renovation that was completed in 2009 now features the modern Ice Spa. Along with typical spa amenities and health club there is also a men’s treatment room and VIP suites, perfect for couples. The men’s treatment room provides such services as facials and a shave or for the brave, waxing. Couples can choose to indulge in a couple’s massage in one of the VIP Suites, complete with a Swiss shower, infinity tub and view of the mountains. The VIP Suite Experience package last about four hours and includes four 50-minute services and a spa lunch for US$575.
The Ice Spa also offers numerous treatments such as the invigorating Chai Spice Pedicure and Manicure, the Chocolate Champagne Body Wrap, and the signature 50-minute Alaska Glacial Facial with rich and creamy Arctic mud used to exfoliate, detoxify and soften skin.
For guests staying in the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel, in-room massages are also available. A 50-minute massage costs US$120.
