Hampshire Food Festival - events at Tylney Hall Hotel
  Hampshire Food Festival

Tylney Hall, a Grade II listed country house hotel in rural Hampshire invites guests to sample the delights of Hampshire Food Festival, one of Britain’s largest annual food events supported by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, which runs throughout July 2009. Tylney Hall will be able to assist in arranging visits to fun, food-related events throughout Hampshire, such as cookery workshops at nearby Newlyns Farm shop and chef demonstrations at Winchester Farmer’s Market, as well as offering a mouth-watering selection of gourmet meals at the hotel.

A member of Elite Hotels, Tylney Hall is full of aristocratic charm, warmth and generous hospitality. The beautiful Grade II listed mansion house sits in 66 acres of English landscaped gardens, woodlands and lakes. Upon check-in, guests are invited to experience all that the hotel has to offer, including the outdoor pool housed within its own walled garden, all weather tennis courts and wooded trails ideal for walking or jogging.

During the festival, Tylney Hall’s Executive Head Chef, Stephen Hine, will be serving up specially created menus inspired by local Hampshire fare with highlights such as Rosettes of Owton Farm Lamb with Creamed Leeks and Broad Beans. Guests and visitors to the hotel will have the choice of dining in the hotel’s Oak Room Restaurant, complete with glass-domed ceiling and wood paneling or on the terrace overlooking extensive gardens and ‘The Vista’ – arguably the longest, uninterrupted view in Hampshire. On 5th July, Tylney Hall will open their gardens and parkland in aid of the National Garden Scheme and will be offering a special Hampshire Fare Afternoon Tea menu.
