Situated in the hip and happening street of Witte de Withstraat, this cosy little Rotterdam bar is full of arty, bohemian types.
During the day, the bar's relaxed atmosphere invites you to people-watch from the leafy terrace, but De Witte Aap really comes alive at night.
After dark, drinkers flock here to see some of the coolest underground DJs in Rotterdam and the party often spills out on to the streets.
Claustrophobics beware though - it's not the biggest bar in the world so be prepared for a tight squeeze at weekends.
De Witte Aap (which means white monkey) is named after Snowflake, a former resident of Barcelona zoo.
