Top 10 Los Angeles Sights and Attractions
The Hollywood Bowl (c) Visit LA

Beverly Hills.
A wander through the world of the rich and famous. Rodeo Drive, Sunset Boulevard, The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Hollywood
Obvious one, this. Hollywood Boulevard with Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the hands and feet and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a mile long starry sidewalk between La Brea and Vine. It’s all still a bit seedy, but there are some hot bars and clubs along there nowadays.

Griffith Park
Take a walk up to the observatory and check out the view. This was also the location for James Dean’s Rebel Without a Cause. The famous Hollywood sign is nearby here too.

Santa Monica to Venice Beach
Hire a bike or just walk along the boardwalk at a weekend and you’ll see all manner of the crazy, weird and wonderful.

Universal Studios
Got to be done. Enough said.

The Hollywood Bowl
There is something quite special about listening to music under the stars at the Bowl.

Westwood Cemetery
Now this is a bit different. This small memorial park tucked away in a small corner of LA is well worth a visit. Not only is Marilyn Monroe buried here but also a virtual movie fest of stars including James Coburn, Walther Matthau, Dean Martin, Frank Zappa, Natalie Wood, Carl Wilson, Roy Orbison and many more. Maybe you will learn the secret of who paid to be next to Marilyn?

The Polo Lounge
They say the real deals are done here. Have a drink at the Polo Lounge in the Beverly Hills Hotel and look for a famous face.

Bus tour of the stars’ homes
Yes it’s cheesy, but you’re in Hollywood for heaven’s sake.

Nate ‘n Al’s Deli
A Beverly Hills institution since the 40’s, the Stars still go there for a nosh. Great deli food.
