Avatara Guest House in Cape Town is a luxurious and affordable B&B housed in a lovingly restored 19th century Victorian house. Steeped in character and surrounded by semi-detached homes in cobbled lanes, the B&B is situated at the foot of Signal Hill in the soul of Green Point.
All rooms are en-suite and decorated with sophistication, echoing the charm of the original Victorian home. There are 2 very special rooms: the first a suite with deluxe bath, fireplace, study and bar fridge. The other leads out onto an open air balcony with beautiful views of Signal Hill.
All rooms have flat screen TVs and WiFi.
B&B rates include a Parisian-style continental breakfast including free-range eggs, a variety cheese and fruits, preserves and breads served by the owner Cher, who can also assist with airport transfers, car hire, restaurants, leisure and sport reservations.
Avatara Guest House is very conveniently situated - 2 minutes’ walk to the 2010 Stadium, 8 minutes’ walk to the V&A Waterfront, Sea Point and De Waterkant’s bistros, restaurants and nightlife; 5 – 10 minutes’ drive to the city centre, Table Mountain, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches and a mere 45 minutes away from such scenic attractions as the winelands and Cape Point. Cape Town International airport is 20 minutes away.
