The Prague Bollywood Festival comes back this week for the fourth year. This week long celebration of Indian cinema is fast becoming a popular event with the locals and tourists alike with most shows selling out.
This year the theme is ‘Globalising Bollywood’ and it looks at the changing face of Bollywood Cinema. Not just the emergence of new trends but also the way its perceptions are changing beyond the domestic shores
The 25 films to be screened during the week, span the whole spectrum from the typical song and dance extravaganzas to the classics from the 1940’s to the 1970’s and those that blur the boundaries between commercial and art cinema.

The festival opens on the Monday 12th October and ends on the Sunday the 18th.
