  Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais, Paris

The Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais, Paris, is a delightful, welcoming hotel furnished in 18th-century style, near the rue de Rivoli; 4th arr, Paris.

It’s impossible not to be caught up in the warmth of this charming hotel and the staff who run it and genuinely want their guests to be happy. Named after Mozart’s librettist, who lived further down the street, its theme is the 18th century, with colour schemes and fabrics based on the period, dainty upholstered furniture, and framed pages of Beaumarchais’ famous ‘Marriage of Figaro’. Good value for the Marais.

rue Vieille du Temple 12, Paris, France

Cost standard double room: £50 - £100 per night, family room: £100 - £200 per night
