Fast Facts for Seville
Climate
Seville’s climate is Mediterranean with yearly average temperatures around 18.6°C, making it one of the warmest cities in Europe. The oceanic influence helps to keep the winters mild and provides some relief in the summer months, when the average maximum temperature is around 35 °C, occasionally rising to 40°C. Perhaps one of the best times to visit Seville is between April and June and from September to the middle of October, avoiding the heat of July and August. During the winter months, December to February, the weather is mild, averaging around 16°C. Rainfall throughout the year is normally concentrated in the period between October to March, when about 2-4 inches per month fall, which is similar to London for this time of year.
