La Rambla
recommended by
Sue Dobson
Stretching from the Plaça Catalunya to the water’s edge, this is the touristy, tree-lined avenue where the world gathers among flower stalls, bird cages, mime artists and café tables. Don’t miss the Miró mosaic, the indoor Boqueria food market, the Canaletas drinking fountain, or the porticoed, palm tree-filled, Plaça Reial close by.
