If you know anything about One&Only Resorts, you’ll realise that the prospect of one opening in Cape Town is something to be relished. The combination of these super slick hotels with such an vibrant city prompts the imagination. One&Only Cape Town will sit right on the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, overlooking the marina with panoramic views across to Table Mountain. Design is to combine the best of contemporary looks whilst drawing heavily on Africa’s culture and heritage. This 130-key resort will be set over seven floors including residential apartments. Forty of the resort’s guest rooms will be on an adjacent lush landscaped island in the waterfront itself. Two suites will have their own ensuite spa treatment rooms. A spa will be set on its own island with nine treatment suites along with heat treatment areas, a vitality pool, experience showers and a meditative relaxation pool. There will be a KidsOnly clubhouse for guests of 11 and under. One of the biggest draws will be Nobu Cape Town as Nobu Matsuhisa brings his signature Japanese inspired menu here with a few South African twists.
