  Tigerlily Hotel, Edinburgh

Tigerlily is a glamorously glitzy boutique Edinburgh hotel, cocktail bar, restaurant and Lulu nightclub offering the total urban lifestyle experience. Located in a 5-storey, grade A-listed townhouse in the capital’s fashionable George Street (near Harvey Nichols, Hardy Amies, Brooks Brothers, Whistles, Space NK, Karen Millen et al), the lavish design combines the grandeur of 19th century architecture decorated in fuschia, plum and turquoise, glittering chandeliers, fireplaces, velvet brocade, leather and floral flock wallpaper.

The 33 bedrooms include Georgian suites with 4 poster beds, sofas, luxury bathrooms, real flame fire, romantic Mini suites, and the decadent Black bedroom. All rooms have plasma Sky TV, DVD, Ipods, Wi fi, White Company toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, mini bar, hair dryers and GHD straighteners.

The Tigerlily bar, run by professional mixologists, is the place in town for champagne and cocktails, attracting a lively upmarket crowd. The restaurant has various seating areas divided by steel mesh screens, intimate booths and glass roofed courtyard with Bedouin tents. Modern European fusion cuisine with a touch of Eastern spice - sushi, lemon chicken risotto, laksa soup, scallops, steak and duck. Also serious bar food and cafe with outdoor pavement tables.

This is a sophisticated destination hotel in Edinburgh for the modern world traveller (18-50) where the fun and funky mood, style and atmosphere offers somewhere distinctly different to drink, dine, dance and dream.
