Bois de Boulogne

Take a romantic walk in the Bois de Boulogne (16th). Promenading in the 2,000-acre park is a typical Sunday activity for Parisians; there are two lakes, which you can row on, a rose and a greenhouse garden, several stadiums, a castle and plenty of fun for children, including a zoo, playground, mini-golf and horse riding. Look out for events throughout the year, too, from jazz concerts to theatre festivals. The park is open 24 hours a day but it’s best avoided at night.
