Musée d’Orsay

Acres of Impressionists, post-Impressionists and all the visual arts from 1848 to 1914 – paintings, sculpture, architecture, decorative arts, photography and graphic art – in a former railway station alongside the Seine. Innovative, exciting and involving. Take a break at the Café des Hauteurs just behind the great clock, or indulge in the luxurious setting of the decorative restaurant where good food comes at prices more reasonable than you might imagine.

Nearest Metro: Solferino. Open Tuesday - Sunday 9.30 am - 6 pm. Last admission 30 minutes before museum closes – but don’t leave it that late! Late night opening: Thursday until 9.45 pm. Free entry on the first Sunday of the month.

Special ticket: Musée d’Orsay - Musée Rodin Passport. This ticket is valid for a visit to the Musée d’Orsay and the Musée Rodin on the same day and costs €12 (instead of €14).
