Located in a picturesque 18th century stable block, it manages to capture the essence of the estate’s historical past with its arched gateway, gabled roof and bell turret whilst transporting spa users through a glass walkway into the sleek, calming world of top class spas, now de rigueur if you want to get noticed in a crowded marketplace.
The Spa experience, designed as a continuous journey, follows the stable block’s original setting around the central courtyard. From the healing benefits of the minerals in the clear quartz crystal sauna and amethyst steam rooms to the tailored infusion of colour, pressure and temperature in the lifestyle shower, the experience promotes mental peace and physical relaxation. There are 15 treatment rooms and a VIP suite, mostly used by couples, with its own bath and steam shower, reclining chair and changing room. Holistic wellbeing is the guiding philosophy here and ESPA products are used. There’s a large indoor swimming pool in a spectacular conservatory setting with a swim-through channel that leads to the outdoor vitality pool featuring five massaging air and water elements. Great fun if you like that kind of thing!
