Ron Toft
Ron Toft is a freelance journalist and photographer of more than 40 years’ wide-ranging international experience specialising in features on wildlife, ecotourism, nature generally, countryside/green issues, aviculture and veterinary matters. He writes for dozens of publications in Britain and well beyond, including the inflight magazines of many airlines (eg Emirates, South African Express, Qatar Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Flybe, Philippines Airlines, LAN, Eva Air, Air Astana, airBaltic and Air Pacific), Cage & Aviary Birds, Africa Birds & Birding, BBC Wildlife, Country Life, WWF, Veterinary Times, Practical Reptile Keeping, Travel Africa, Travel Zambia, Zambian Traveller, Living Abroad, Spain, Living France, Good Motoring and Hampshire Magazine (chief countryside/wildlife feature writer). Ron, a former committee member and membership secretary of the British Guild of Travel Writers, is also proprietor of Osprey Editorial Services (editorial copywriting for brochures, leaflets and news releases etc for wildlife/conservation organisations).
