Sandwiched between Midtown Tourism and Downtown Hipsterville, Gramercy is an elegant reservoir of calm, a short walk from the action, with everything you might want in terms of savoire faire, elegance, charm, art and the kind of coffee shops which have the New York Times rather than The Post. It's got everything in fact, except an excess of souvenir shops. Or hamburger joints....
